On March 24 adjuncts from around the nation gathered in Washington DC, joining SEIU President Mary Kay Henry and Representative George Miller in the first ever national Adjunct Organizing Committee meeting. The event marked the launch of the Adjunct Action Network. With the Network adjuncts will be able to focus their growing voice and power into concerted action- through creating petitions, hosting events, by building email lists, and by participating in discussion forums.

Take Action
Stand with fellow adjuncts in Maryland! Part-time faculty at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) are nearing a vote for a union election. However, as they fight to improve their working conditions they face attempts by the MICA administration to intimidate the adjuncts from exercising their right to free association and organization.
Send the MICA adjuncts a message of support! Let them know that adjuncts from all over the country are inspired by how they are standing up for their rights and for what they are worth. Click here.
