Adjuncts in the Boston area – like adjuncts everywhere – know that work doesn’t stop at the classroom door, but pay and benefits often do. We believe that by forming a union with SEIU, we can build a strong voice to raise professional standards and improve the quality of education.

To celebrate this historic win, and to discuss how to expand the movement, SEIU/Adjunct Action is hosting a one-day conference on Saturday, November 15, at the JFK Library and Museum in Dorchester — the very place adjunct faculty in Greater Boston first came together in April 2013. Panels and discussion breakouts throughout this interactive day of discussion will cover: Celebrating the Tufts 1st Contract and Expanding the Movement; Student Activism on Campus; and Art, Education and Organizing.
